Not the lowest price for a 4060 laptop (The MSI GF Laptop with 4060 is cheaper on Amazon - less than 1300$, but it is garbage). This is the best 4060 that is less than 1500$ i could find. I think there's cashback too so be sure to check that to make it even cheaper.
There're better ones that's either sold out (16 inch Lenovo LoQ 1700$ at Centrecom) or too Bulky (Dell G15 which has pretty good screen at 1600$ price point).

Edit: I try to research more and come to a conclusion if someone want best p/p laptop:
+ For sub 1500$, we have 2 options: This deal, The Dell G15 deal (there's a cashback which make it become around 1300$). Acer prolly perform little bit worse and got worse screen but has modern design and lighter.
+ For 1500-2000$, we got many options: Lenovo Slim 14, Lenovo LoQ, Acer Helios Neo 16 (Both 4060 and 4070 for the Acer is sub 2000$). Tough choice, the Helios Neo 4070 prolly perform the best but there's more thing to consider like screen, keyboard, battery etc. so keep that in mind.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2023

  • Looks like it's a 12700H cpu.

  • +1

    https://www.harveynorman.com.au/acer-nitro-5-15-6-inch-i5-12…

    i5 for $1298.

Would recommend the i7 for $80 more.

    • Absolutely yea. It's 1.5k everywhere. Bing Lee just somehow allow us to apply the 120$ discount code to get this price.

  • Has this latest Nitro model build quality improved?

    • From what i research, build quality was improved in the 2022 version already. This one according to JarodTech is pretty decent. The only big con it has is the average screen. You can check out his newest laptop tiee list video.
This one has Mux Switch too.

      • So maybe pay more for Predator for better screen? But can still see Predator models very very cheap plastic look …

        • The one with the good screen has 2k resolution or something (JarrodTech review the one with 2k screen, reach almost 100%sRGB iirc). The one that go on sale at 1700$ (4060) and 1999$ (4070) here seem to use a fullHD screen so im not quite sure if they has a good screen.

  • I pulled the trigger on dell G5 ($1599 but after cash back is $1297. Better screen, and better CPU, DdR5. The only drawback is heavier 2.78kg)
But this is still a good deal.

    • Oh nice. I didnt notice they got 14% cashback and a 5% discount code too. Yea, the Dell G15 seem to be better value if you're not moving the laptop much.
