    They have just released a “lite” locals pass for $179.

    Village Roadshow is now owned by a venture capital firm, they are stingier than they used to be.

    Give it a go with your existing pass details (after selecting renewal) but I don’t believe it will work.

    Renewals are usually only available 30 days before or after expiry.

    Purchasing a new pass the validity will start immediately so not worth it.

  This for renewals also includes the food vouchers ($20) and the VIP x1 pass (even though its not explicitly stated), plus the other special events passes.

  Before black friday the annual renewal was $119, so the $99 is a decent deal.

  For locals, holding out for a renewal at the time is the way to go.
