Also $1228 C&C / + Delivery @ The Good Guys eBay using HGTNOV.

    • Probably worth a separate post for this one, might be the cheapest we get until March next year.

    Got the lg 30% coupon.
    $1499-30%-16% cash rewards….

    • +2

How do you get the 30% coupon?

      • Spin and win

      • The spin and win promotion is over unfortunately.

    • Damn, you wasted 30% on this? ;)

      I wanted the 77" G3, but only had a 20% voucher. 30% would have saved another $600!

        That's ok.
        Last year, Even I got the 50% coupon, I didn't buy 83" g series.
        Because I already have 65a90j.
        So I bought GS-V635MBLC fridge.
I want to buy more expensive one, but they don't have stock…
I will buy 42c3 for my old desktop. So don't need too big one…

    • So you're mentioning something unobtainable…. 🙄

The crowed on this website is getting…

      • Just rubbing it in lol

        • Wasted 5mins of my life searching for this LG discount

        • It's pathetic bragging, sad, pathetic bragging…

Will it go any lower over the weekend, guess we'll have to wait and see.

    • Yeah I am wondering how black Friday normally works, are all the best deals on the actual Friday?

      • Well the thing is there's cyber Monday coming up as well, my guess is the deals are likely going to go over till at least Monday? That's an assumption, others might know a bit more.

I'm still holding out for the 48" to drop, hoping it will eventually, that or an even lower price 42"

        • I'm thinking the same. Probably going to get the C3 42", bit worried about auto-dimming though

        • Had a look at last year and it looks like the cheapest on the C2 42 was $1269 on the Tuesday before Black Friday (and we're already at those prices). I guess it can't hurt to wait to Monday though.

          • @bleeder: Did JB do any 5% off coupon on Cyber Monday last year? Only way I can see it dropping any further (combining with gift cards of course).

    • Pretty sure this TV will be close to $1k by early 2024 when the new model is released.

      • Oh yeah likely by march or so, but wouldn't mind having it around a bit earlier, see how we go with the price.

      • Most likely but that's probably 4 months away.

  • I'm going to jump on this now..

A while ago I saw the last in stock of the LG C1 48" in store at JB was about $1000. Me being the cheap ass that i am i didn't get it and it was probably the lowest i could achieve being in Perth.

Couple years later and I still haven't a TV for my PS5 and the C1 still sitting right up there for performance

    • +1

I have the 48" C1 and purchased the 42" C3 just the other day and I prefer the C3. It actually doesn't feel that much smaller, and the factory calibration is much better. The colours actually look correct unlike the C1 where everything just looks "off" (especially yellow tones). Brightness feels about the same. Only thing you're missing from the C1 is 120Hz BFI but the number of 120Hz PS5 games is fairly limited, and you still get 60Hz BFI. You'll be blown away by this TV when you connect it to your PS5. Make sure you calibrate the HDR on the PS5 and use Expert Day or HDR Game Optimiser for the most accurate colours.

      • Appreciate the feedback between both of those models. Instils even further that I've purchased a good product.

But now.. I'm actually a bit concerned because the shipping company they've used, Aramex, has a very low Google review rating 1.4 out 5..

There's 3.5k reviews and I've gone through a few of them.. This company almost sounds comical. It's given me Housos X logistics empire vibes

        • Yeah Aramex can be horrible.

They may say you the item was undelivered because no one answered the door (even if you were home all day).

The it takes a few more days and calls/emails to get redelivery or even to pick up the item at their warehouse.

I've generally had annoying experiences with them but sometimes it's OK.

          • @Circly: Yeah.. I'm definitely hoping for the best

Got notified on Friday they received the item to deliver. I might get on to em early to speed up the process but that could make things worse. Going by the reviews they have attitudes

Think I'll stick to being hopeful

            • @V-Rally: Just letting everyone know that the TV arrived two days earlier than expected. The tracking didn't update until the day it was coming to my house but very happy
