    Unless you really need an iPhone and are on a very strict budget this is not worth buying, support ends next year, and it's an almost 7 year old phone

    Anyone know if AirTags tracking would work with this? Googling seems to indicate that it will but without precision location (whatever that is).

      the precision is handled by the U1 chip in the later versions of the iphone.. I think it airtags work by sending out a bluetooth signal to iphones within a 10m range, which then transmit the GPS co-ordinates to the 'find my' network, so without the later iphones you can get to within 10m of your tag. If you have a later iphone, the U1 chip then takes over and gives precise directional' type instructions on your iphone down to centimetres. It is basically a compass type arrow which tells you how far you are away, and in which direction (follow the arrow)

    I've not had good experiences with Alegra "refurbishing" phones. My understanding of a refurbishment means cleaning the exterior and replacing faulty or worn parts. In my case I received an iPhone with a heavily worn battery and very scratched screen (scratches so deep it catches a nail). Final nail was the phone was still fairly dirty and grimey.

    I'm sure people have good experiences but keep in mind, it works both ways.
