Ha, told Dell chat last week needed to come to party with 34 DWF and drop price for BF, or lose sales to the G8. They’re probs like “yeh cool thanks whatevs ….”

to be fair you probably spoke to someone who has no say whatsoever

        • +3

oh yeah, totally…. of course lol "pass the feedback on"

    • What are your thoughts on the G8, or the QN90C? With discounts I can get the TV down to $816

      • +1

Pros: OLED, price compared to similar models
Cons: mini connectors, negative user reviews, no official burn-in warranty

      • Only 360 zones on the smaller 43inch version. Night and day compared to oled.

I have a mini led TV with 240 zones, big difference compared to my OLED. Especially playing Horizon forbidden west in darker areas. You can see tones more detail. Honestly OLED with HDR turn off looks better than miniLED with HDR on.

Also compared against my MacBook Pro 14 with over 2000 zones, blooming is also very noticeable. Especially watching Disney + Obiwan Kenobi Vs Vader scene (2022).

    • Yep exactly this, Alienware or Dell's version would be good. At this price while it's low, but you're still taking on a massive gamble with the G8 issues.

Does the Australian Samsung store warranty cover burn-in?

      • I went the TV…. $160 cheaper and 0 risk of burn

        • TV? S90c s95c? Or are you talking about something else

  • finally tried android emulators on PC and got the 2nd one to work (iOS user) - 'got' a delivery date of 6 dec, but I'll bet my left nut it will end up more like Feb at least, knowing this crap store and their track record. will see.

  • Wish you could order through Samsung but pick up in a store like Scorptec or Mwave.

    • +1

It is like ordering a big mac and collect it at KFC.

      • No it's not. Scorptec and mwave are advertised as stockists of this product.

  • How did you get the 15% discount? The app only provides 10% for me.
