Hows Your 'Black Friday-Cyber Monday'

I/We moan a fair bit when things like click frenzy, Prime Day, etc are 'major' let downs and hype merchants. - But im going to say this black Friday/Cyber Monday for me has been one of the 'best/better' sale weekends i have seen since last black Friday.

I want to thank the Ozbargain community for the large number of GREAT post posts from 50 percent off Pirelli Tyres, to numbers of solid 'cashback' deals and of course the TCN 15 percent off….. etc

I have been waiting for this weekend for awhile as there has been a 'few' things i have been hoping to get well below RRP - Black Friday has delivered. But i only can speak for myself.

    Scored Pirelli Tyres (MyCar) and the XBox (Ebay)… but Amazon's offerings have been really crappy this year.

      i got on the tyres as well but i did get the OLED Switch with Mario Kart on Amazon which i stacked with the 15% Sitewide cashback (capped @ $30)

    Bought the $149 Lego rescue helicopter. Then got refunded by Kmart the next day as they didn't have enough stock :(

    As usual, i got all my deals a week or at worst days before. The actual day of sales was as expected more about convincing the masses they were getting a deal (some ended up paying more than non-sale times).

    Total fizzer for anyone looking for a deal on the day.

    Nothing much from retailers but if you managed to stack with the upsized cashback, there were some pretty good deals to be had.

    Worst CyberMonday ever!

    Was trying to buy a Kiln pizza oven on ebay using a discount code. It was $3.50 below $1000 which would have triggered a $120 discount. I messaged the seller asking if they were able adjust the price upwards a few dollars to trigger the full discount and they responded back by increasing the price a full $60 (making it around $57 more the manufacturers full RRP!).

    Worst one for me in the last three years. Barely any really good deals and only bought two things. Previous years bought a bunch of stuff.

    I think I've just come to the realisation that I'm just trying to buy stuff during this period due to FOMO. I've struggled to meet all the cashback min spends to get the bonuses and what not.

    Maybe its a sign I have everything I need and don't need to actually spend money.

      I think this would be a very large percentage of the population, you would be amazed what FOMO and hype can do to people…

    Best BF by a mile for me. Got 30+ clearance items from Amazon. Probably bought over 50 different things over the last few days. Most of it would have been at a great discount or combined with some sort of cashback.

    Been pretty good! Got some household stuff (new wok and cocktail set), couple pairs of shoes and clothing (Boston 11 for $95 from RRP of $260 was solid) and a Corsair 64GB 6000MHz CL30 kit for $299 (after cash back) might've been an ATL?
