this is ground coffee not beans

    • Thanks fixed

  • Good stuff. It's no better or worse than any other medium roast coffee bean. At this price it's a no-brainer.

If you know nothing about the Australian Lavazza family, you should look them up. They have some serious $$$

    • Yeah this is why I try to support the small family businesses. They need my money more. And the coffee is decent.

      • They were that kind of business. It just ended up being big business.

Any idea when it was roasted? That’s usually what I look for in the supermarket ones. Best before dates are useless. However from what I understand/remember, these big suppliers use nitrogen in their bags to stop the coffee from oxidising and going stale.

Roasted yesterday , your getting roasted today !

  • I like the flavour of Lavazza, even if it’s not as fresh as Aldi.

Incidentally, does anyone know where I can get Lavazza Top Class locally (in Australia)? My local cafe used to use it but they are now closed and I don’t know anywhere in Sydney that sells it.

  • Managed to get the beans at the S&S price last week, dialled in today. I must admit, not too bad for $11.88 a kg! I see it’s still unavailable, otherwise I’d buy another kilo.
