      I want a dock that won't scratch or cook my OLED Switch

      I never put mine in the official dock anymore because I don't want it scratched. I put it in there a couple of times and now I have scratches :(

          That has been issue since Nintendo Switch pre-release 7 years ago. Reviewer who got early switch already report the same.

        Yeah I've had to put a little 'pillow case' over the front section to avoid it. But then again I also use a screen protector.

        The day I got my Switch, I used thin double sided tape and cut strips of a thin screen cleaning cloth and fixed it across the two protruding sections opposite where the screen would rest and I haven't had a single scratch on the console since doing so.

      The original encloses the front and back of the switch and scratches it up. At least my original dock does

        Thanks, yeah I hate the original dock. This seems more portable and 100W PD charging seems like a difference too. Purchased.

    After much deliberation I ordered one of these

    It's only a shell and I need to cannibalise an original dock, but at least I know it won't fry my Switch at some stage :D
