I bought most of my replacement batteries from ebay. Some of them state the expiry date which I always check before buying as I buy about 5pcs at a time. Hope this helps. I use Murata brand (used to be Sony).

    • thanks for this info.

For the freshest batteries you should go to the battery market. Each morning the battery man have freshly caught batteries they sell direct to consumers

OP should really drive 8 hours out to the battery bowl of Australia, wait for batteries to ripen then pick off the tree.

Honestly, this is such a lazy post. If you don't know where to buy batteries, regardless of type, then we have a serious problem with society. If you could neg forum posts, I would be doing it to this one.

Yes or Jaycar, Radio Parts, Local cheap $2 type shop, Bunnings. All depends what type of battery it takes. Maybe a dedicated battery shop like Battery Zone.

I suggest not looking at the OPs other posts if you don't want to risk losing your remaining faith in humanity.

I wonder if they have an "x for Dummies" library, sounds like they definitely need a few of the books.

There was that person that traded a paperclip to a house. Same but different.

Just make your own batteries .That's the freshest option.

  • It depends on the size/number of the battery.

Most common sizes can be found in Supermarkets, Bunnings, Officeworks, JB Hi-Fi, etc.

The uncommon sizes usually has to be purchased online (ie. eBay) or from a watch store (note: some will be close to expiry though).

I can't imagine there being sufficient cost differential between suppliers to justify going more than about 100m past whatever is the closest place that has what you want.

Otherwise Amazon with free Prime delivery.
