[iOS] Mango Baby: Newborn Tracker App $1.99 in-App Full Unlock (Normally $14.99) @ Apple App Store

70

Been looking for a baby tracking app for ages but all of them sell your data to third-parties. Finally found one with a great privacy policy (your baby's data stays within Apple's iCloud servers and is not sold to third-parties). https://mangobaby.app/privacy

On top of that, intuitive interface and solid features. Full feature list here: https://mangobaby.app/press-kit. Made by San Francisco-based, indie app developer Yilei Yang.

The base app is free and ad-supported (though the ads are not tracked:). You can unlock all features for $1.99 (Black Friday sale), down from $14.99. Looks like the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale is still running based on the US timezone.

The app also supports Apple's Family Sharing, so only one person in your family needs to pay for the app.

Hope this helps all the privacy-conscious parents out there:)

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2023

  • For first time parents. Only really useful think is the measurements and that comes with your bluebook

    • +1

Tbh, I would recommend this app even if it didn't log growth (I agree that the blue book has that covered). Being able to see at a glance when the baby last fed, slept, pooped, is a game changer when you have a hundred and one other things going on. Time just flies with kids. Anyways, to each their own:)

  • We’re using Cubtail and it has been amazing. Free to use and another parent can join in. Tracks poop, feed, growth, sleep etc. Try it out.

  • is there an equivalent to this on Android?

    • there are a tonnnnnnn… i like baby daybook, but it's a bit expensive… ~$50 lifetime or like $5 per month.
It also works in free mode, with ads, a few less statistics. As others have mentioned above though. It's a bit of effort to keep updated. We did it for like the first 2-3 months but then couldn't keep up.

Baby daybook originally had google assistant capabilities too, so you could ask google to log events, but that was deprecated as google removed certain legacy functions from their smart speakers :'(
