  I'm not sure it's enough of a step up from the closed back version given that dynamics are still struggling due to the driver dampening. Detail is a step up, but you'll go further with an open back.
  
  The materials design work is top notch though so it's a low distortion closed back in both cases.
  
  The Radiance deal was far better, and at this price range it might be worth stepping further up to angle for an LCD-XC deal.
