    I've read online and people don't rate this product very well

      Which one is better. The US delivered one or the Aus one? The model # are different.

      Also with regards to meat stick, are you referring to "Meatstick X"?

        Anything with x is just a range extender.
        Also both linkings are tp960 from description but weary of Amazon accuracy. The orange should be the newer 970 which is 600ft and longer battery life.. you just would have trouble claiming a return as they advertise tp960

          @maverickjohn: Thanks. The Meater looks like the best options to me. It allows you to use a spare smartphone device to used as a wifi extender, which then allows you to see the temp reading while your away from you home. The Meatstick has the wifi option, but it looks like you need to buy their wifi bridge/extender.

  Oh man, I literally bought a ITC-308 non wifi on amazon yesterday for $37. This is purely for a beer fermenting fridge - I really would have no use for the wifi feature right? It will always be set to the same temp.
