Growth Saver Account 5.70% p.a. Interest on Balance up to $25,000 ($200 Monthly Deposit & No Withdrawal Required) @ Move Bank

Grow your savings with bonus interest when you deposit $200 and make no withdrawals in a month, on balances up to $25,000.

There's also great features like no monthly fees, no fixed term and access to your funds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This is the highest interest rate for a savings account at the moment. It's a shame it's only up to $25,000 balance.

Balances upto $25,000. Too low not worth the effort.

Yeh, I’ll just stick with ING and have it at 5.5% instead

they will move the bank after collecting enough deposits

lol up to $25k. what a joke.

might be high but the reviews on productreview put me off from trying …

I have not gone to banking ombudsman yet. Still trying MOVE. I cannot access my account on line. They have blocked it. They refuse to unblock it unless I answer their 15 min survey with such questions as "What do you like about MOVE? How did you hear about MOVE? They literally wont let me access MY account!
I transferred $20000 to this account, and I cant even see if it got there. Don't use this bank.

$10K transfer limit without phoning, but …

Took entire day and multiple phone calls just trying to increase my daily transfer limit- with other banks this is something you can simply do in mobile banking. Below average customer services. Will not come back.

    Too low of a balance

    statements somewhat contradictory:

make no withdrawals in a month, on balances up to $25,000.
access to your funds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    • no withdrawal from the saving acc i think. i just lost one month interest in suncorp. they have no more than 1 withdrawal, i totally forgot since i've been with ubank for ages.

    • +4

It's not remotely contradictory… You can access your funds 24/7, but if you do there will be an interest penalty.

Seems pointless when you can get 5.4% and do whatever you want with the money unless you're dead set on never touching your money for years.

        • +1

You don't need to "not touch it for years", merely don't touch it until the month has ended.

25k? Thats a big night out these days

  • Tried to open a savings account with ING online but got message Medicare and driver's licence information incorrect. Ridiculous. Also received comments about credit rating issues.
Applicant has no debt and hasn't applied for a card for 20 years. Ridiculous again.
With a savings account application, why is a credit check required. ING and Move bank reviews stink. Not enough customer support and out of date software systems.

If it’s sounds too good to be safe - it most likely is.
