Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax 768ml $35.70 (Usually $51) + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Repco

190

SiO2 ceramic coating is more durable than traditional wax (5-6 months vs 2-3 months), with this spray saving time with no rubbing or buffing.
Apparently, just wash your car, spray on the product while still wet, rinse off (under high nozzle pressure) and dry. Water beading self cleaning properties means your car should stay cleaner for longer.

I bought this from Supercheapauto where they did a price beat (they only took 50 cents off though selling for $35.20).

It works well, but won't last up to six months like they advertise.

Give it a few weeks, max

      • The instructions say spray it on before drying. Is this what you do then buff it more once dried with chamois?

      • Same with me.

Wash, wipe off the excess water, then apply the Ceremic Wax with the damp towel (without rinsing off).
Probably do this once every 3-4 months.

One bottle lasts me a year for two mid-size SUV's.

Another clear example of inflation caused by general price gouging by manufacturers and retailers. Until there are price controls, jacking interest rates is not the answer. Surely economists have more than one tool to control inflation?

      Increasing GST / income tax.

Govt can't (usually) control supply, but can control demand more effectively.

This is the best guide to watch for this product, well worth the watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1rMMrOqGTg&pp=ygUcbWVndWlhc…

  • Cheers OP, running low so just picked one up today. Been using this stuff for years.
Miss the days where it used to cost ~$25 🥲
