Imou HDCVI 5MP PoE Dome/Bullet Security Camera US$14.15 (~A$21.45) Delivered @ Cutesliving Store AliExpress

50

Extremely low price on these security cameras from Imou (Dahua) in either a Bullet or Dome style housing that I expect to sell out very quickly. For US$10.66 (~A$16.16) you can get the 2MP bullet camera, but given the small price difference I recommend the 5MP camera instead.

Both feature a 5MP sensor with 3K (2592x1944) resolution, Power over Ethernet, IR + Full Colour Night Vision, built in microphone, 3.6mm fixed lens and IP67 water resistance. Like other Imou cameras these support ONVIF/RTSP, NVRs and playback through the Imou app with cloud storage available.

  • Says can't be shipped to my Australian address, any ideas?

  • +1

I’m getting “can’t be shipped out to your address “

  • Great price but can't make the purchase ….

  • For my info, these are wired only, right? There is a pic on the seller's page that says Wi-Fi but no info in spec sheets.

And I think these don't have a card slot, is that correct?

    • It mentions WiFi hotspot which would be your phone connecting to the camera to download footage. There's no SD card slot either. These are more intended to be used with an NVR.

      • I wonder if the wifi hotspot feature is a copy/paste from the wrong spec sheet as, technically, how would the camera provide past video if it's stored on an NVR?

  • Did anyone else get theirs yet? I have a camera with no POE

    • What model is it?

      • HAC-FB51FP

        • Obvious question. Your switch has PoE too? It's possible the store has mislabelled it. I can ask Imou.

          • @Clear: The camera given has only a Ant type end and I assume a speaker or alarm cable

There is no POE adapted as I assume there would be to make it POE

            • @DH: So no ethernet lan port?

              • @Clear: Correct

                • @DH: Seems it needs a coaxial to ethernet adapter. Dispute would be the right course of action since it's a misleading description and not as described.

                  • @Clear: Yep, would only be happy to keep it if they sent the adapter free, unless it is obviously missing but shows no sign of it in the 1 page manual

                    • @DH: They'll likely push for a partial refund.

                      • @Clear: 1st option: No Refund!
