      I'm fine with the 480Mbps so I've only gotten USB 2.0 transfer speed cables. Never looked into faster data

    Yep, like most cables, a big unknown with these brands. I wouldn't cut cables just to find out though.

  Amazon is a minefield of brands that either have terrible data speeds or reviews that say they melt!

    got one of this and works with my 2k monitor at high refresh rate, along with monitor inbuilt USB hub and 65w PD.

    cable was a bit thick and doesn't bend much, but that's basically every usb3 cable ever.
