I recently applied for an Amex Velocity (about 1 month ago) that had a bonus points offer after a 3K spend.
Just wondering if anyone knows if I also apply for an Amex Qantas card that also has a bonus points offer, will I get those bonus points as well, or does Amex have some sort of criteria that you can only get bonus points from your first Amex card that you apply for

Welcome to the world of points hacking, and no, you won't be eligible for bonus points for your second card.
Each offer has T&Cs that will state to qualify for Amex bonus points, you must not have held any Amex card for 18 months.
Thanks @geekcohen. Actually my problem stems from that I am getting declined from all the other credit cards applications that are backed by Westpac/NAB/ANZ etc. It seems that Amex use a different credit report which still seems in my favour at the moment and hence why I am trying to get a second one if and only if I get the bonus points. But just talked to them, and the answer is I don't get the bonus points if I have another card that has had bonus points awarded.
Yeah as @bitesized has said, AMEX is one big program and once you've burnt your one it's another 18 months until the next.
Not sure if Amex will be harsh or not being you are an existing customer, but be maybe read this thread
