  • Out of stock online, limited stock around Sydney city.

  • HN similar price $298 and some have it in stock.

    • The Good Guys are selling it for $296 as well. ive put the link up on the description if it works.

  • That's a big call saying it's the best 7" on the market. Plenty of competition on the internet for that title.

      Like ainol? Lol

  • Nexus 7 32GB version coming soon, so for those who want a larger capacity might want to wait. It will be sold at the same price as the 16GB version.

Also some lucky buyer in Japan was shipped a 32GB Nexus 7, so that's already proof that the new batches are already in production and ready to be sold.

    • Wait for Windows Surface, iPad mini, etc. to see what will happen.

    • There could be 32gb version.. but we won't know unitll official announcement.

Personally 16gb is plently.. I carry around my 32gb USB or 500gb portable HDD with all my docx and movies. All this can be accessable by simple otg cable :-)

I agree, 16GB is enough for my web-browsing-angry-birds-playing habits, and there's always an OTG cable if I want to expand for a short amount of time.

These are becoming the new Galaxy S3 bargains, aren't they?

what is OTG? and do these Tablets have SD and/or USB ports?

    • +3

OTG = On the go. You basically just plug a micro-USB to USB (female) cable into the device and (for the Nexus 7) download the Nexus Media Importer app (or equivalent). Then, when you plug a USB device (HDD, flash drive, etc) into the OTG cable, the Nexus app can read it.
Other tablets have this OTG functionality built in, hence an app isn't required (I think)

As for you other question: no SD slot or USB port (the OTG functionality makes up for this though. You'd just need to find an appropriate adapter for the SD card slot.)

That's one of the many OTG USB cables available on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USB-A-Female-to-MICRO-B-Male-Conve…

      • may need root to mount usb drives

        • For functionality with the app, as described above, you don't need to root.

  • Not the cheapest it's been and no more $25 credit.

    • i got mine on tuesday and still got $25 credit, i think it's been extended because of the problems people having in redeeming it
