Yep even there are multiple telegram group specifically targetting new members to pump and dump method. Basically they spam everywhere so people buy X shares then the moderator will sell at high price

I invested all my money into a house and stock market index funds. It's providing shelter and an income stream. I don't have to worry about the current market prices as there is no need to sell to realise the benefits.

Its not all or nothing. If you allocate 1% of your total wealth to crypto, I am sure you will still be able to sleep at night. At worse you loose 100% of the total investment (so 1% of your net wealth).
With investment companies like Blackrock looking to get into the game, I doubt they think it is going to go away anytime soon. Just follow the money.I purchase the odd lotto ticket. End result is about the same.
Need to diversify.
You should also try scratchies, Powerball, and the occasional lucky dip or rsl art union lottery ticket.
