They used to be the best rewards imo but now they have made it 20 times hard to get points.
Completely agreed. I used to do all fbe rewards offers each day because the value to time ratio waa excellent. In saying that i has nearly 230000 points saved up so i can redeem them for ablht 2 yeara gamepass via this deal. Domt think ill be using ir again in the future much because thwy have nerfed it MASSIVELY. Seems to be 5-10x harder to redeem anything. I'd say this is simply due to MS not hitting Gamepass sub numbers where they wanted it to be and acting people to pay it out of their own pockets for it, especially since the price has gone up and they've bought Activision, they're probaly needing to recoup some of that money.
Might want to redeem those points for a new keyboard 😆

I get 180 points, 150 from searches and 30 from quiz

Also when you say 30 from quiz, is that the edge daily quiz thing or something else?
@NoiceMemes: I use edge and haven't noticed that, is it a setting? I've just gone and hid whatever popped up in that spot, but now it's just like all the rest of the news articles
.@Nugs: I don't think it's a setting. Whenever I open a new tab in edge on a pc, it auto opens the 'gaming' tab (which is after the news, sports, play and money tabs). From there it's as simple as clicking on the tile and it rewards the points almost instantly. Occasionally though after I have clicked on the tile it will disappear and something random will appear there instead but that rarely happens and it resets the next day with the points tile for more points. Not sure how to get it working otherwise.

Most the points actually come from the Xbox App on mobile for me but basically:
Tap here to Play (Microsoft Jeweled type game) : 5 Points
Play a PC Game: 10 points
Play with Friends on PC: 100 points (this one just means a multiplayer lobby, in my instance 1 game of Halo Infinite multi player)
Use the Xbox App: 5-25 points (starts at 5 for the week, and gets upto 25 if you start a streak then resets)However each of them also give me bonus points each day for Link a social account, keep 7+ friends, Subscribe to Xbox Game Pass, so it constantly gives me around the 300 point mark daily.
Then there's the various other points via the MS Rewards dashboard which are either quizzes or simple clicks daily
@cooleagles: Yeh strangely some people have different things in their app, fwiw I'm on iOS but even then two people on iOS can have different things

250 points a week from doing the weekly game challenge… Good to look up a quick way to do this, Stardew valley took less than 10 minutes with hints off youtube.
And of course the 2500 every 10 weeks for doing the daily challenges.

Where can I find this gaming tab on the Bing Homepage? Are you talking about the Bing webpage via the browser, or the Bing app on the phone?
@GreenLego: If you open edge the front page has tabs for content. Click gaming and there's a reward tab every day that varies in value every day.
I think the only people upset about those are the one that search random numbers in quick succession to get them done.

Still cheaper to purchase 3 months game pass core at 15000 points. If you have ultimate it converts to 50 days. Works out to be 300 points a day compared to this deals 311 and it's always that price.

I just tested the 3 months and it added 92 days, not 90. (28000/92 = 304.3478260869565)
This is the way. And if you let your ultimate expire first, you will get 60 days instead (3:2 ratio).

Yeah. I only do the basic clicks and not bother with Bing or mobile search as they are pitta to do and not worth the time any more.

I sure hope you're utilising Game Sharing/Subscription sharing in this instance, obviously as best you can with possibly 3+ accounts
You can Game Share the Game Pass, so you should be able to do with less subs, unless you have a very niche requirement.

Bought this + 6 months a few weeks ago (sadly paid the 35,000), now I've paid up till Febuary 2026.
The nerfed points is a killer but hopefully can earn 6 months worth a year to keep pushing the free game pass into 2027.
Is this actually a sale or maybe its the new normal because of the points nerf? 🤔I've been getting 20k+ points per month. Nov '23 was the lowest at 21k, previous low was 22k in April '23. Highest this year was June at 26k.
Share us your tips pls!
The biggest one is the daily Rewards 'Quests' for Ultimate members in the Xbox app on the phone. It's split into:
- Play Microsoft Jewel
- Use the Xbox app
- Play a PC game
- Play with friends on the PC
and have it linked to a social account (e.g. twitter), and have 7+ Xbox Friends.
This gives you around 300 points per day. There is a streak bonus that resets 5 or 7 days, so sometimes you'll get slightly less than 300 and others you get more. All up, this will give you at least 9000 per month, just from this.
Then there are mobile and desktop daily searches, Daily tasks on the Rewards page, reading daily news on the Bing app, daily log in bonus on the mobile Rewards, daily/weekly/monthly Quests from Ultimate, daily tasks on the Rewards app on the Xbox Console - which also gives you a 1500 points for a 10 week streak (which works out to 150 per week or just over 20 per day).

I bought 3x 12 months Game Pass Core for Turkey region, then upgraded the entire 3 years to Ultimate. All up, it was around A$150. But this was back in June 2023, when the conversion was still 1:1.
Think both the VPN trick as well as a non 1:1 sadly is long gone from what ive read thus far :(. Double wammy.
