  • Description does not match : Full 1920*1080P Resolution & 500 ANSI Lumens Open up a sharp New Horizon

At that price point, I think it would be great if it could produce 500 ANSI lumens.

I'm skeptical about the reviews. 4.8 stars - too high for a project without a model number.

"Sold by Rui Direct" instead of Amazon, what are you really expecting?

16000lm… I call BS. So it'll light up a 300" screen in full day light from 100m away. That's $20k+ value right there. Shut up and take my money.

    • "16000 Lumen" Maybe it's typo, one zero too many.🤷‍♂️

      • Quite the typo. They've said it in the title and twice in the specs. Seems like typical over spec hoping purchasers won't understand what they're being fed.

    • probably more that $20k for a 16,000lm. The Panasonic 16000lm is $28k.
Doubt it has a 22000:1 Contrast Ratio. Probably 2000:1

I dont think this thing will even be 1080p, probably 720p at 300 lumen

Way to many reviews with pictures or videos compared to other items.

    • +1

what should I infer from this?

      • +5

        Fake reviews with fake pictures.

CamelCamelCamel stating that the projector was $307.99 in Nov 2023. Then price increased to $439 with $120 coupon.

    • Yeah, by keeping the list price high and offering a coupon, sellers can manipulate how the price history appears, bypassing the effectiveness of 3camels. So common now it's insane. Think about how this whole coupon practice has really grown on Amazon. Yesteryear, it was rare to see.

      • Ahh, so that's the reason for it. I thought it was just aping the yanks again.

And all the 'only one coupon per cart' means is two orders if you want to order multiple reduced items.

    60ghz screen

Do I have to upgrade my 4ghz CPU for this?

  • Lol

    definitely a deliberate typo,

    LED Lumens= 2.4 * ANSI Lumens

company advertise for 500 ANSI Lumens, seller claims it has 16000lm.

    • +1

It's not a typo, it's just lying. There is no penalty for it, so why the hell not lie?

  • +2

    scam

first "review" is obviously a marketing person, as are many

I've actually been contacted by one of those cheap projector sellers. They offered to give me the projector for free if im happy to write a review. I said sure, why not? But the devil is the the details.

In order to review the projector, i first must purchase it from Amazon. She said thats the only way I can review it on Amazon. Then, when I write a 5 star review and is puclished, then they'll refund me the money.

That explains why there are so many, I wouldn't say fake review, but rather they are biased, paid reviews and cannot be trusted.

However, if this projector can really produce 500 ANSI lumen, then its watchaable, in the full darkness. Don't expect mich performance with any ambient light.

At the same time, even if it does have 16000 ANSI lumen, you can't compete the sun for brightness. There is no light source made by humans can be brighter than the sun.

An alternative for a good budget projector would be the Omnistar L80 with 1500 ANSI lumen. Currently selling $629 with $100 coupon, so $529. It was $499 during Black Friday. That one has much better review outside of Amazon and might be more trustworthy.

Thanks for the info on how bright the sun is. 10/10 helpful

      • You underestimate people's stupidity. One time I had some woman on reddit tell me her rear bicycle light was so bright that it could outshine the sun. Then she banned me for pointing out how idiotic that is.

I got the Wimius 1080p(the next one down) and it's great in a mid to dark room. Blinds need to be closed and so does the door if it's really bright outside. I would highly recommend these projectors.

  • Can you return if it doesn't meet the expectation?
