Actually, it's still $247 delivered on eBay with code SAVETH.
Im leaning towards the A9+ with 8gb/128gb - even at ~$100 extra I think might be worth the upgrade..
I keep going around in circles with the p11 - seen quite a few bad stories on here from AliExp buyers

I was kind of in the same boat, had bought various aliexpress tablets in the past (xiaomi, TCL, etc). but just wanted something from an aust retailer asap that you don't have to mess around with. Went and got the 8gb/128gb in the end figured over the life it was worth the $100. Will need to find other bargains to cover my splurge.
P11 Pro gen 2 global android 13 firmware here on my Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022. It's running great. Much better device than the A9+ and slightly faster than the S9 FE, with a better screen (OLED vs IPS LCD).
and maybe even the p11 2?

curious about the screen without a trip to the store. I had an A8 and gave it away because the screen was so grey and miserable.
Same here! I'm sure a SD695 would be adequate in terms of speed, but the 4G RAM has me second guessing. Looks like i'll need to go check it out in store I suppose =\
FYI I went and had a play with the A9. The screen like the A8 is very muddy and doesn't feel like its bright enough. Viewing angles are also a bit meh. You don't REALLY notice until you look at the S9 FE right next to it to compare. Speed wise it's not bad. Definitely good for entry level tablet and feels smoother than the Lenovo M10 G2, especially with the 90hz screen. Multitasking and games work okay as well as video playback on Youtube which is limited to 1080p60. Again, image doesn't look as crisp and feels a bit dull (Don't know if i'm spoilt for screen using flagship Samsungs for many years).
So I might be giving this a miss and look for a S9 FE at least for BD sales.
Hopefully it comes down a little bit more and we can still use the 10% app discount + $150 trade in.

My S5e started running like crap but after a hard reset it looks like it’s back to an acceptable slow now. I can’t really see much benefit in the A series over the 5e.
Yup lol. Spent 1K on a Tab S9 and it's damn well worth it. LCD doesn't even come close lol.
