Toshiba 13.3" 16GB Tablet with (currently best) Tegra 3 CPU running Android 4.0.
Seems pretty good deal - not sure if screen's too big for it to be useful? But could be really good to use for apps like remote desktop and watching movies.

SD card, micro USB and micro HDMI.

    That's not a tablet, it's a coffee table without legs :)
(a price in the title would be nice)

      Oops..fixed

Yes, it's big at 13" and heavy at 1kg, but in the current market it's still a bargain for anyone who's got use for such a device!

does it come with free facial reconstruction surgery if you drop it on your face whilst using it in bed?

    please put price in title

  • Ordered one myself.. pretty good price. Currently have the first-gen smaller AT100, but I pretty much use it only at home now - for watching videos too, in bed or whilst on the treadmill. So I imagine that 13" will be all the better for it.

And just like the AT100, a full-size SD Card slot with support for SDXC cards is always good!

  • I'd image the battery time is not good

      10hrs apparently

  • Wow.. That's one mammoth of a tablet!
I'd love to buy it, but I fear that I won't even use it.
I have a good phone, good computer and a nooby tablet.

I won't buy it, but this is an awesome deal..

Nice deal especially for the size, but getting too close to W8 launch to buy any tablet at $400~. Not saying you must choose W8, but there's going to be a lot more competition in roughly 2 weeks time.

  • A tablet made for giants?

Also, how the hell are you supposed to type on this thing if you are standing up? I'd imagine a split keyboard would have to be neccessary for two handed typing.

    • I would say a Bluetooth keyboard is absolutely necessary with this beast.

Seems too big for a tablet IMO. Now, if Samsung were to refresh their Galaxy Tab 8.9 with current spec internals, I'd be all over it!

Remember it's longer not larger than the usual

1600x900 resolution. That's quite decent. Many laptops with bigger screens have worse resolution than this.

    • However tablets are made to be held very close to your face, so unfortunately 1600x900 = 120 DPI, which compared to other tablets is quite low. In other words, individual pixels will be quite noticeable once you start comparing this tablet to the ASUS Transformer or iPad New.

      • It's actually 138dpi, slightly better than ipad and ipad2 (132dpi), but not high enough for my liking.
