      Definitely an insane time investment if anyone plans to finish all of these.
      I've played a couple and enjoyed them for a while, but I couldn't see the whole games through.

        Most of the stories can be completed in anywhere between 20-40 hours, it's only if you're a completionist is it tough (Looking at you Mahjong).
        When compared to many other games (Hello Red Dead Redemption 2, any Ubisoft game) it's pretty reasonable and killer value for money.

    The storyline on Yakuza 0 absolutely slaps, and puts most movie writing to shame. Never liked the combat much. Still great deal though.

          The gameplay is mostly unchanged throughout, what sets em apart is the plot and some mini games. Yakuza 0 majima has a great plot and great main story mini game. Yakuza 4 has a great plot divided into 4 mini plots following each playable protagonist

          I think it's up to personal opinion but what I will say is that Yakuza 3 and Yakuza 5 are the worst of the bunch. Unfortunately 3 feels quite empty compared to the rest of the series and for Yakuza 5 they attempted to highlight 5 connected stories from different characters meaning some are clearly lacking.

          The Kiwami series came out on the more recent engine and its a remake of the originals so it feels more modern and fresh being packed with so much to do. Likewise Yakuza 0 was also made after the originals but is set as a prequel to the series so its got heavy plot and side stories compared to the rest.
