    lol

    Cheaper with a quick google

    • Hi, please send a link? to make sure we are comparing same product!

    • Hi,
Not possible that you will find cheaper prcing than us for same product.

      • Hi are they filled with Hungarian goose down ?

  • bought 1000 thread count from kmart, feels amazing.

Hope you got 100% cotton. Otherwise, it’s pretty much like a waterproof and airtight plastic bag for any cheap 1000 thread count polyester stuff.
For 100% cotton high thread count products, 700 or even 500 is good enough and doesn’t kill the wallet.

      • yes, Australian cotton. 1000 TC is my new minimum :)
i can no longer go back.

        • +1

Surely you cannot get 100% cotton high thread count from Kmart. Check the product details, they are Cotton AND polyester.
And, high TC doesn't mean higher quality or more comfortable. Stick with quality material, not thickness.

  • Why is your list price $929 for the king when the first website I glanced at lists it’s rrp as $619.95

      Thank You

      • please check pm I send through an enquiry for the product. Thanks.

        • Hi,
          No worries, just responded.
          Thank You

  • Honestly, not much of a deal unless you're specifically looking for this brand name. You can get the same quality from harris scarfe at the moment for less

      Hi, Big difference between two
      John cotton quilt got
Boxed and baffled stitching adds loft and even distribution, casing has internal walls, where Harris scarf one got box stitching, and always got less fill near stiching & less loft
Anti-microbial treatment & Harris scarf Quilt doesn't have
it got 350 Thread count cottong casing, higher thread means down won't escape after multiple washes and Harris scarf one got 290TC cotton casing low threa count casing weakens after mitiple washes and down start escpaing

Not sure why but when reading this reply I instinctively read it in the voice of yoda :o

  • Down, down, prices are down.

  • I think it is good quality but too hot for QLD.
Wait, did I say this last time too?

The foul truth of where goose and duck down comes from.

    That’s why I don’t buy it anymore.

85% Goose down and 15% Goose feather

You're likely contributing to Animal Cruelty by buying this product. Don't support that shit!

    • Alright, I’ll just eat them and discard the feathers

      • +1

That's not the problem. Killing them for food and using the feathers is fine. The cruelty is where they painfully harvest the feathers from a live animal over and over.

Is this product Responsible Down Standard Certified?

    • +2

Doubt it, they can't even tell us where they source it. Their more premium down is Hungarian down which is funny…

DONT BUY HUNGARIAN GOOSE DOWN the latest on Hungarian Goose down supply is not good news. Unfortunately the industry regulators in Europe tell us that Hungarian Goose down supply now has USED downs added to it, they are also adding duck down to the filling as well. What this means is there is an extremely high level of fibre which is essentially waste. The Hungarian farms are also only breeding the geese for 5-6 weeks which means the down clusters are very small, immature and not high quality at all. NO Hungarian Goose downs are CLASS 1 or CLASS 2 due to the used downs being added. It is not legal in Australia to sell used down blended in new down. For these reasons Supreme Quilts will no longer import Hungarian Goose down. We recommend to stay well clear of any seller or manufacturer claiming to sell Hungarian Goose down. Much of what is supposed to be Hungarian Goose down is now actually Chinese Goose down. We do have a small supply of Hungarian Mother Goose down which is the last of the quality left in Australia. I would highly suggest purchasing our Polish Goose down or duck down products, they are a much higher quality.

I'd rather stick to Supreme Quilts which are Made in Australia and can verify their down source. SQ's high end pillows are up there with the likes of St. Genève, wouldn't have doubts on their quilt quality.
