[PC, GOG] Happy Holidays with GOG RPGs, Incl Wasteland 3: Colorado Collection (4 Items $11.93, 7 Items $17.89) @ Humble Bundle

410

HumbleBundle have evolved and found new ways to bleed me dry. This is the first GOG bundle that I'm aware of. I actually own all of these games on Steam but none of these on GOG. A little dissappointing that Kingdom Come Deliverance is only the base but quite a few of the others do include DLC that I don't own on Steam. Kingdom Come: Deliverance's The Royal Edition DLC is actually cheapest on GOG so I guess that's something. ITAD have the historical pricing for the bundle at $76.68 with 4 of the games new to bundles. I assume they are separating the GOG versions from the Steam versions as Vampyr has been in a bundle at least once already but they are saying this is the first time for this version.

Claiming the games was pretty easy. You need to link your GOG account to Humble then just click on the links on your purchase page. Please note, you do not get extra keys for any games you already own.

ITAD bundle info

Tier 1 - 4 Items - $11.93

Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Steam page

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales - Steam page

Elex - Steam page

Vampyr - Steam page

Tier 2 - All 7 Items - $17.89

Wasteland 3: Colorado Collection - Steam page

Greedfall Gold Edition - Steam Page

Darksiders III: Deluxe Edition - Steam page

Edit: Added some extra info about claiming.

Edit 2: Added ITAD info.

(profanity) I got Kingdom Come 2 weeks ago

FYI it doesn't run great on Steam Deck… strangely unoptomised, considering BG3 and Cyberpunk were fantastic experiences.

    • I was going to ask, do you happen to know if the other games run good on deck? I’d mainly get this for Vampyr, Elex and Greedfall.

Tier 1 is amazing for the price u haven't got those games

I think you're basically you're getting everything for less than the ATL of Wastelands 3: Colorado Edition on Steam. It has been as low as $14.19 on GOG though. I really want to see the full bundle on ITAD though. Too lazy to check every game one by one.

        What's itad?

          ITAD is https://isthereanydeal.com/

It's like camelcamelcamel for Amazon. They track price history for PC games across a whole range of game websites.

Edit: Made it slightly more clear.

    The Christmas mid collection

  • This would be amazing to get if I didn't have them already on Steam :(

    • +1

I have it all already but not some of the DLC. Nice to have it on GOG too though. To help justify the price I changed the silders to redirect the majority of the cost to the charity.

  • meh I have all these on steam. I think they did a similar bundle last year,.

    • +2

Did they? I don't remember any previous GOG bundles. It is a great bundle if you don't own anything. Still pretty good if you only own a few.

      • talking about the games in general not the platform.

  • i had a lot of fun with thronebreaker on my steam deck. Didn't like the end fight though lol

    • Final battle was BS if your build was to damage the enemy. I wasted a few hours failing and then finally gave up and looked at strategies….which was the complete opposite of how I played the game up to that point.
Then I won so easily by flipping thr strat.

Same with me. This is an awesome bundle. Thanks very much OP.

And now for the oath…I promise that I will never play any of these games. So help me GOG.

      In GOG we trust

  • So you don't get GOG keys? You have to claim it through your account or something?
Just wondering if I can gift the games I already have to friends.

Usually if you claim a giveaway game you already have on GOG, they send you a gift key by email. Maybe like that?

    • +1

Yes, you must link your GOG account and click the redeem link on Humble's page.

    • +2

Hmm, I don't think you can gift these. There was just a single link to click. I'm not sure what happens if you already own something.

      Potential redemption errors:
      - "Already owned": you currently have this game in your GOG account and it cannot be added a second time

      source

Yeah, they should give the option of getting a key. Seems like something fair trading should look at. This nonsense has been going on for too long. You should get all the games regardless of owning them.

        • +1

It could very well be working as intended. After all the furore of OOS Steam keys and people going outside the T&Cs of HumbleBundle by trading or selling keys maybe this is a way around all of that?? I guess we'll have to wait and see. One thing though, GOG certainly doesn't have as many games as Steam.

          • @ozbs25: true. GOG doesn't have as much shovelware and unfinished early access titles as Steam.

    • ok, so I bought it and what happens if you already have a game is you click the link and it says, "You already own this product. You cannot redeem another copy at this time."

Then when you refresh the page, the original link resets back to "Claim to your GOG account …" as though nothing happened. Nothing in my email either.

So yeah, you just don't get anything. Disappointing. It lowers the value of the bundle because having a game to gift certainly has worth.

      • I'm wondering if it's part of their agreement with the publishers. I'd love to have extra keys for duplicates but it could be to prevent the extra keys finding their way to resellers. Can you get GOG keys on gray market sites? I've never used them so I don't know.

        • I assume so because they do have keys and Prime Gaming has given away quite a few GOG games and I've given those keys to people. Though they do have an expiry date on them.

          • +1

@mj7312: I suppose they should at the very least provide a gift option for the games. There is probably a way to set it up that would help prevent the keys ending up on the resellers market. You should give Humble some feedback if you have the time.

That’s lovely, love a sale. Which holidays are they happy about? I’m not aware of any. Anyway, like Black Friday, always happy for another sale.

  • I had just about given up on Humble for DRM free games. This is a great development!
