Just noticed the drop in price at the Samsung EPP store. However, I believe the same price might be reflecting in the Edu store. If so, can combine with Samsung Shop App first purchase discount of 10% to bring the price down to $1070 odd dollars.

You can additionally check with Samsung chat if they could provide any loyalty vouchers (not sure if they can be used in the edu login).

I personally ordered it for $951.32 through normal Samsung Shop app (currently valued at $1399) + 10% first purchase discount + 15% Samsung Members app November quiz voucher + 10% Loyalty voucher from Samsung chat. But since everyone might not have the Samsung Members Quiz voucher, just added it as a note. Others might be able to get it for cheaper with Edu login (if vouchers can be stacked).

    Fantastic system for a Soundbar. Ended up pulling the trigger on this mid-year and blown away how it performs for what it is and the price.

              @Goldberg: The rear speakers on the q990 have additional side outputs for better directional control (4 channels total). The q930 rears have top output and standard front (2 channels).

              It was tempting to go q990c but couldnt justify the price difference for the slight upgrade

          Yes normal and edu login. Unfortunately EPP logins doesn't work on app

      Well yeah otherwise definitely not worth it over Q930. That model represents best bang for buck if you want rears speakers in your configuration (otherwise Q800 would be best).

      The price difference between Q930 and Q990 is crazy I think. Big price for incremental upgrade IMO

      If you have any Samsung product you should be able to get the loyalty voucher pretty easily from the Samsung Chat. They might just ask a snapshot of Settings > About Phone. Just tell them you want to buy this soundbar and you want a code that stacks with the app first purchase discount. Alternatively try tell them you are interested in buying this and if they could provide any vouchers.

      They usually say use same email id for which the loyalty voucher was issued, not sure if it doesn't work without that email id, so worth a try if you trying to stack multiple loyalty vouchers
