30000mAh in a power bank translates to 111Wh which is over the limit allowed on airplanes (though you can supposedly get permission for up to 160Wh if you ask the airline), which is why the oddly specific 27000mAh is a common size.

I have had this for years and never had a problem flying. Awesome power bank and still going strong.

My powerbanks (27000 and below) were checked at Changi a few months ago. They specifically looked for the mAh and Wh

      • I've never had anyone check the power capacity of the power banks I've taken on planes either, but you never know. They are probably used to how the 27000 ones look and the 30000 ones are almost identical 🤷‍♀️

        • Don't you have to declare when you do the check in?

          • @Kammi: Seemingly only if an individual bank is over 100Wh according to the average airline website. They will see them when you put your carry-on through the scanner either way

          • @Kammi: ive only ever been asked if i have any and are they in my carry on. never been questioned about capacity. I assume security are more attuned to sizes to be mindful of and might flag a large looking one for further inspection

    • This has come with me as carry on for 6 flight so far with no one so much as batting an eyelid.

Your mileage may vary but I've never had an issue.

Also a solid unit, very happy with it.

  • Sigh… my one of these has gone missing, it's a great unit.

  • anyone know if this can be charged with all three inputs at the same time?
if you have multiple old 1A 5V chargers, and one of each of the input cables available, but nothing that does 18W…

  • Apparently this doesn't have 18650s inside. Owned one for around a year only used it on camping trips, so far so good.
The actual capacity I measured was something like 26500mAh, but for the price close enough.
