Jb Hi-Fi Price Match after Purchase?

Hi,
I purchased a SD card from Jb Hi-Fi and just saw it about $70 cheaper on Amazon after getting home..
I tried to search Amazon in store but was not getting reception.

So my question is, will Jb Hi-Fi price match Amazon after purchasing an item (in-store or over the phone)?

Or is my only option to refund it and buy from a different Jb Hi-Fi store?

Edit: Update Jb Hi-Fi price matched instantly over chat. So will go in to return the previous one tomorrow and pick up the online order

          Yea it's time critical, need it before Sunday so I was thinking return it and buy a new one with price match

            @Anon257: Sounds like a great plan to me.

            Check the Amazon price before you leave because they can change on a whim.

              @Muzeeb: Yea agree, I just wanted to gauge if anyone else had experience doing a price match without doing the whole refund and purchase process. Wanted to avoid going into store again during the Christmas rush haha

                @Anon257: It’s in JB’s interests to make it a bit of a hassle, if it discourages some people from the effort.

            @Anon257: Amazon delivery is NOT guaranteed delivery the next day. It is best case and if they stuff up it can take a week by the time it goes back and then gets re-scheduled.

    Why would you need to go to a different store? Just go back there and do a change of mind return, but explain why you're doing it and that you want to price-match.

    Just don't do this during peak times…

          Haha thanks mate, I have to do it tomorrow as im going on a trip on Sunday.
          Thankfully Jb price matched over chat instantly so I can just go in to return and pick it up tomorrow.

      I've done that before. Bought Pixel 7 from JB hifi online, was not in a hurry to open it. Telstra had a good sale on those a few days later. I walked into the store with intent to return it, explained why, they gave me a price match on the spot, the difference went to the card I used online.

      The funny part is I asked about the price match in chat first, they said they won't do it, so that's why I went to the store in the first place, to return the phone. But the store staff was more flexible.

      Yep I was surprised when I saw it at home too, was only expecting a $10-20 diff..
      Amazon do have it on a 46% discount at the moment so that might be why

        Do you think Amazon price will remain until tomorrow?

        You can jump on JB chat and price match with Amazon then make the purchase for C+C. Go back to the store and say you changed your mind and return what you bought today. Then go to click and collect and pick up your new one for Amazon price.

        Which sd card is it? 46% is quite a lot of discount.

    I tried to search Amazon in store but was not getting reception.

    Next time just check on one of their laptops; at least one will be connected to the internet

    I purchased a XSX game online and a week later if dropped by around $40. Jumped on their chat. Asked if theg could refund the difference. And they did. I was expecting pushback and a bit of negotiation for a voucher instead for a lesser amount

      Did the price drop on Jbhifi?
      They do have a 2 week policy on price drops at Jbhifi but I was curious about when prices drop at other stores do Jb refund the difference

        It was JB. Jump on their online chat. See what they say. If no success. Get them to price match. Do a C&C and then go grab it
