What Are My Repair Options for S23 Ultra Glass

Today I tried to install a Whitestone Dome glass screen protector on my Galaxy S23 ultra. When I pushed the phone into the jig I heard a snap and my phone screen cracked on one of the pegs that holds the phone in place.

Samsung quoted me $450 to fix. They say 'not under warranty'. Whitestone say 'not our responsibility'.

Can anyone suggest a good place to get it fixed up in SA that is very reputable and will do the job well. I don't care about the cost as long as it's under $450 and is not done by a sheister.

      Never considered it tbh, just since the phone cost so much already and I don't want to ruin it :(

    I'd suggest to go Samsung officially if it's just $30 more than independent repair shop.

        When my Note 10+ developed a fault with the display, I had it replaced by samsung under warranty.

        When they replaced it, they replaced the battery too. From what I've heard, this is standard practice for screen replacements with Note 10+ with samsung. Not sure if this is the same for the s23 ultra, but I think it might be

        It's probably worth spending that little bit extra to have it done by samsung

      Unfortunately I don't think I'd recoup any costs since I got it extremely cheap with the Samsung loyalty deal+coupons, I really only paid half of rrp..

      No I've had a different protector on. I bought the phone when it was released.
