These are currently on sale at about 50% off most retailers and the JBL website for about $74.
Bing Lee have it $10 cheaper. I bought it at Officeworks today at $74 without doing research :( , son loves it. For audio I am no sure.

Bing Lee also has priced the JBL Quantum 610 for $99 (RRP $229.95) but out of stock, Office works has stock at $114, not sure if they would price match if Bing Lee out of stock, no harm trying.

    I think it is designed for gaming, but would do that job fine.
    If you are fussy with listening to music I would pass. Being wireless, it's wireless, not sure about range though.
    Specs say 22hr battery life, 5min charge gives you 1hr use, full charge is about 2hrs.
    The MIC and boom detaches too if you do not need it.

  I have the entry level of these, quantum 100's. $25 at Officeworks. Sure its wired but it works with every console. The mic for some reason is arguably the best I've ever heard..which makes no sense 🤣

    yeah Myer was clearing out a couple entry level models they were ultra cheap a year ago (I just remember it was during covid and lockdown). stacked with big 25 or 30% cashback at the time, the 100 was cheapest around $9 after cashback then the 200 was around $16 after cashback. can't remember the price of the 400 and the wireless.

    I didn't post it because the reviews for the cheapest wired ones were outright overwhelmingly terrible. can't remember exactly what but hey at least the mic is good on yours.
