If you picked up one of the cheap Officeworks Brother Laser printers (about $32 I think) but loathe paying the absurd $60 that they charge for Toner then you may like to try the Good Guys who have the genuine Brother toner for $42.50 with free pick up instore (http://tinyurl.com/9hlxzrp). I don't know what their charges are for delivery sorry. Happy for anyone to comment if they have purchased previously.

    TN2230 is also at a decent price, $48.20 (it's for the Brother D2270 printer). Officeworks sells it for $74. Thanks.

    I bought the TN-240BK from Officeworks the other day, then returned and bought it from Good Guys, and saved myself $40!! Asked the sales person how long they'll have this price for, he said if more people start buying inks and toners from them, then they'll keep it at these prices =)

    I know the bad about using generic but for me it is fine have been using a $20 (delivered) toner bought off ebay for months. So if you are unwilling to pay for the original, the $20 is a good option. But make sure you print at least once every week to prevent the nozzles from jamming, which wouldn't happen if you are willing to pay extra $25 for the original one.

    Now we just need this 2130/2132 printer to go on sale again…

    Other people have reported you can use TN2250 toner for this printer, is that correct?

    It will, you just need to convert your starter cartridge to the high yield one with a couple of springs and stuff. Usually the conversion kit comes with the toner.
