Good price on the PRX and PRX Chrono ($2440) for those who still have disposable income (not me)

  • How long is this deal running for?

    • +3

Just today for DJ's. Mazzucchelli have the same 20% on a lot of their watches once you add to cart. Already set up for Boxing Day.

I've been thinking of getting the prx for my graduation gift in 6 months but getting it for under a grand is tempting

  • if you bought recently at Tissot.. any chance to get the different back?

Tissot seastar 1000, $720, great price

  • Too bad they don't stock the Heritage 1938 range
    https://www.tissotwatches.com/en-au/t1424641633200.html

    • They had the heritage telemeter for 30% off, I'm guessing to clear them out a couple months back.

Wish they made an in between size for the prx 40 is too big but 35 is too small :(

  • FYI Salera's (Authorized Tissot Dealer) has 22% off tissot but some popular models excluded.

  • Cheaper than iPhone.

  • How good is the brand?

    • +2

Assuming not a rhetorical question - good brand. Part of Swatch group, all Swiss-made pieces, at the upper end of the budget spectrum. They have some stand-out pieces like the Gentleman's 40 mm and the newer PRX (I have both), both around $1K price.

Their Powermatic 80 movement is decent and has good power reserve. They have some higher-price pieces that are interesting - the Heritage 1938 is popular.

      • Thanks

        • Adding to it, my first mechanical watch I bought myself after I started working. Perfect entry Swiss brand for young professionals, in my opinion. Not too pricey. Still the one and only mechanical watch I have now.

But if you are entering mid-age, Tissot, as a brand, might be too entry-level so you might want to look towards other mid-tier ones like Tag Heuer, IWC or mid-high tiers like Omega, Zenith.

If you are senior-age with a pile of assets accumulated, then other classical brands like JLC, or one of the big 3 even, might be more suited.

  • Don't quote me here but I've been following one particular Tissot for several years and the price varies from 950 to 1100 in most jewellery stores.

Why is it 1300 here AFTER 20% discount….

Could be wrong and it's been raised in price by Tissot themselves due to inflation (I haven't checked the price in about 12 months)

    Worth considering before buying though

    This one by the way

Chemin Des Tourelles Bracelet Blue Dial Watch (though I prefer the white)

    • I've been eyeing the leather strap equivalent all year and it came down to $992 from $1240 with the 20% discount. The discount gets automatically applied at the payment screen.

All Swatch Group brands have had about a 15% price rise over the past 3 years. Usually in Jan and/or July prices will rise about 4%. It's cooked.

  • Hold. Me. Back.

  • Got the new PR 100, very well priced piece.

    Thanks OP

  • Is it me or the images for prx 35mm are incorrect to the product description?

  • Isn't this a fairly standard saving on Tissot watches? 20% seems pretty common at Mazzuchelis etc

    • Yes, but 20% from most ADs is good. I never tried but you may be able to get them down further in-store for Tissot.
