Found this while scrolling through the Play Store, combines with the 1 month trial. Last year's deal can be found here.
Steps to access:
- Open Google Play Store
- Click on the yellow box with label "Shop jolly, joyous end of year deals on games"
- Scroll down until the yellow box "Get 90% off Play Pass"
- Click "Get Started", then follow on screen instructions

No, so it's 1st month free, then the 3 months after that are 80c/month.
I did this last year but was frustrated when I couldnt purchase games/apps on sale if they were already on play pass, because I was already subscribed to the deal. It almost felt like I was being penalised for subscribing to Play Pass.
