      • Sled and push would be better

      • the one from spotlight

    • +1

perfect for dragging Series X's back from JB to sell out the front of Gerry's

      • Lol

  • Wondering if I could use for two small kids

  • Seems better than the standard Kmart one according to the specifications?

    • Yeah possibly, Kmart one is pretty good tbh.

      • I've found the sack & handle on Kmart's seems better, although the Catch one claimed 80kg max cap and larger storage. Did you purchase this one as well? Then you can make a comparison XD

  • Thanks op I really needed one and been waiting for a cart under $40. Should be good for kids at wet n wild or pool

  • -1

not as good as the one sold by anaconda. this one will break after a few uses

    • How do you know? I think it’s quite solid

  • I'm getting $52.95 delivery, even with 'One Pass' subscription.

I literally haven't found anything on Catch that offers 'free delivery' with One Pass subscription….(that's actually worth buying or a good piece compared to elsewhere)

    • I’ve only bought catch one pass deals through ozbargain there has been the odd good one once a month with free shipping. Sometimes Kmart stuff has popped up too that’s cheap

    • Maybe only apply to metro area?I got free delivery with ONEPASS

      • I'm in a country area. I don't get any form of delivery with Bunnings but this came up free

  • Anyone can confirm wheel size for Kmart one pls? Doesn’t say in the spec.
    Catch one is 3.5x18cm

Thank you, got one. I have been eyeing these for a while, seen many Asians using these to go grocery shopping and thought it was a great idea.

Roll up. Roll up. For a bit of Christmas Day unintentional racism.

      • +6

        How was their remark racism?

      • -2

        @seamonkey

a bit of Christmas Day unintentional racism

Maybe change your name if you want to call out unintentional racism. It's a common derogatory term used in the merchant shipping towards certain crew nationalities.

        • -1

          It is not.

          • @Loopholio: It is not what?

If you are referring to the term, maybe spend some time on cargo ships as I have done. There is a lot of conflict within crews, often reflecting differences in pay, work conditions and levels of training.

    • Those gift cards can get pretty heavy

Not sure why the downvotes. I'm Asian and I see it a lot too and I also bought it for similar reasons..

I bet it's all white people being offended on behalf of us Asians.. 🤣

      • +5

Indeed I am wondering too. Had I said I saw many Europeans or Americans using these, people would have been less offended x)

        • -2

So just out of interest, my take on this.

What you said does not have any inherent racism. And I certainly am not suggesting you had any racist intent behind it.

But in an environment where systemic racism exists, this falls under stereotyping. You specify the race of the people you have seen using the cart. You don't imply anything negative - in fact it's the opposite.

But the issue is that the race of the people is not really important to specify in your comment. If you just say people, then the meaning of your comment does not change.

So while you may not mean anything negative, by specifying the people's race, readers of the comment will unconsciously apply their own stereotypes - good and bad.

For example, you might be specifying race as a reference to physical characteristics, such as smaller average stature. In which case, it's better to directly mention the characteristic, without race, to avoid also invoking other stereotypes at the same time.

Historically, specifying race was often used to invoke negative stereotypes. So it can come across like you are purposely trying to invoke negative stereotypes by specifying the people's race, even if that is not your intent.

In a world with no racism or stereotypes, then specifying race just makes for a more accurate mental image.

Working to eliminate systemic racism includes proactively speaking and writing in ways that tries to avoid invoking stereotypes. Change is a slow process, and is made up of lots of little parts.

For example, in my generation, many of our parents and grandparents often specify people's race when it adds nothing the actual underlying point of what they are saying. They usually have no inherently racist intent, but it reinforces the races they specify as "other", and the ones they don't need to specify as "normal". We understand the complexities, but our young kids don't. So we actively avoid language that could contribute to any one race being seen as better or worse, and ask our parents and grandparents to try and do the same.

It seems like a small thing, but it's surprising how much it comes up. Not just with race - for example, people's gender or sexual preference is often specified when it's not important to the point being made.

        100%.
I’m white and hubby is korean, and he laughs when people get upset when he’s referred to as asian.
Like what else would he be. It would be offensive not to refer to him as asian 🤣

        • +1

          Exactly.. 😅

I'm actually half European too, so technically I'm Eurasian.

I get SUPER upset when someone calls me a Mexican though.. 🤣

      • -6

So you speak for all Asians? What makes you think all Asians think the same?

        • +1

No, but the Dalai Lama speaks for A LOT of Asians though. Being the spiritual leader of a common Asian religion. I would expect a lot of his followers to think the same..?

Speaking of the same though, we Asians, thanks to Genghis Khan, are probably more alike to each other than any other ethnicity purely for the fact that he graped soo many women, apparently 1 in 200 of us Asians would have ancestral ties..

  • Thanks been waiting to get one of these, Onepass member and sent to local Kmart to pick up once back from holidays

  • got one as my other one breaking down. now i can use one for the beach and another for the park

    • +1

You can use the good one to help rescue winch the broken down one if it get stuck in sand or 'breaks down'.

      • +1

its still good, just the fabric is falling apart. So as a frame its a ok

        • Ohhhh, gotcha. 😉 May be a way to get a replacement? Or even make your own out of tarp if you had a free afternoon, finicky as hell though.

          • +1

@WasBargain: I might just take the wheels off and use them for this one as they are nice and thick for the sand.

  • Sun shade available?

  • Ah! Looks tempting on a rainy Christmas eve in couch. Never had a use case for this mah life yet, but will still get one :)

      because this wood is pine.

  • Tks op. Can carry all the beach toys and kid bikes in one Cart.

  • Dual hump Camel better

  • Which one is better, this one or the one below?

    https://www.onbackcampers.com.au/products/folding-wagon-cart…

    • Doesnt specify the weight bearing.

    • I’m looking for foldable wagon for beach. As mentioned by everyone here we need big wheels for the beach.
This looks like a bargain in terms of price but is it good enough for the beach? Need to carry a 4 year old and beach umbrella ,food etc.

  • +2

Don’t buy this. I got this from catch a few years ago and the handle fell off on the first use. Stitching is also low quality

  • Which one to buy for the beach with a good deal at this moment? Please share the link.

  • I received this and it fell apart during unboxing. Piece of rubbish.
