Second post, so go easy.
Was deciding on gopro or Dji. Decided to go with the adventure combo for $599.

Was reading reviews and it seems the DJI is getting better feedback. Got a gopro 9 and the stability and nightmode isn't so great. Can't wait to try the action 4.
Forget GoPro, they died after the 3. I've had 3 of them since the 3 and they all would bug out on me when I needed it most. Always overheating and freezing. Ever since they changed hands and started focusing on software they lost their whole appeal which was a camera that was reliable and just worked. Even in the early days of the new version of the DJI I still preferred it even with some focus issues for the fact that it always worked. I'll take slightly unsharp content over no content any day. Several of my friends have had GoPro issues too so I know it's not just me, one of my friends took it in a pool and it stopped work, just non stop unreliable.
Highly recommend this over any GoPro. Genuinely cannot recommend enough over GoPro.
I have the action 4. If you are not looking to take pictures, this would be the best camera against gopro 12.
Damn, got it for $649 with 5% off jbhifi gift card a week ago. But really good camera, especially during low light.

Still in stock on Mobileciti ebay and same price with voucher, I managed to get JB to lower their price to $629 via chat no dice on $599 :( but with my discounted GCs works out cheaper YMMV
I've got 2 DJI Osmo Action cameras and they are still good. Will buy next generation Osmo Action when it arrives.
