Samsung ViewFinity S80PB 4K 32" Monitor (USB C, HDR 600, IPS) $549 & Free Delivery @ Wireless 1

140

Hi guys,

First post and I thought I would share a really good bargain.
This is a really high end monitor for non gaming. I recently bought one from Centre Com at full price $888 and now it's on sale at Wireless 1 for $549.

I bought another one for dual monitor setup. No shipping fee to my address. I added optional insurance on top.

Full spec details on Samsung website:
https://www.samsung.com/au/monitors/business/s80pb-32-32-inc…

I highly recommend this monitor for work and personal as it comes with USB C which makes it super easy to have one cable to display and charging the laptop. Build quality is really good and also got pivot and height adjustable stand which saves my buying a monitor arm. 4K resolution makes the text really sharp and clear.

There is a 27" model but 32" model has better panel with higher HDR 600 vs HDR 400.

Thanks

  • Ooh, I’ve been looking for a HDR600 monitor to primarily use for design but also a tiny bit of XSX/PS5 on the side.

    Is this good?

    • There isn't many reviews about this model and not too popular because I think this is only advertised as Business monitor.
I don't play games and this one is perfect for me and it got everything spec wise and these days USB C is a must as it so convenient. I don't need to have the laptop charger around and it's messy with the brick and cable.

The colours when you enabled HDR really pops up.

I also have Xiaomi LED monitor light bar on top.

I was using dual 24" monitor and wanted to go for 1 single monitor. I find when you place two applications side by side, it's bit too narrow so decided to go dual 32" lol.

    • 60hz refresh rate, so no, not really. Even for design work that would drive me nuts (assuming you do lots of dragging/zooming/moving as I also do for different work).

    • Damn. I didn't see it.

  • This or the LG Ultrafine ?

    • Get this one.
I can't stand LG monitors and they feel and looks cheap.
Samsung one looks and feels alot more premium. The stand is super slim and and you put stuff on it which saves space.

Strongly disagree. Spent a small fortune on my 32" 4k Samsung and gosh it feels like cheap rubbish compared to my LG panels previously.

every monitor post should have at least the screen size, panel type, refresh rate and resolution in the description, had to read it in the comments that its 60hz..

    • First thing I do is click it, ctrl+f and search for 60Hz to find it in the comments.

    60hz

  • Thanks OP! Got one for the missus to use with her Macbook. Was planning to get the Dell U3223QE which whilst being objectively a better monitor would have cost over double the price.
