Hi all, trying to decide between these two monitors, for casual gaming (PC - Fortnite, Doom Eternal, Halo, etc. and occassional PS5) and general use.
MSI is $409 AUD. Dell is $370 AUD.

Where do you see $370 for G2724D? I checked Dell's website and it's showing $450
If anything, G2724D is one of the few monitors that support VFR for PS5. I know you're using it for PC, but might be good if you decide to get PS5 down the line.
Thanks Ramenblizz. It was $399.30 a week or so ago and then student discount brought it down to $370. Now the price is up $50.
What is "better" to you?
27" is tiny for gaming for many people, would you prefer something larger? Or more interested in an even faster refresh panel instead? More contrast? Better angles/colours? Higher HDR quality? 4K resolution instead of 1440p?
There's no fixed answer to this, so many variables and everyone is different.
