Great game well worth the price, but lacks replay value.
Game was decent but not great. Scaling the rooftops and obstacles is like a game for 5 year olds with how simple they made the controls and lack of consequence. The only fast paced challenge is the robot mice late in the game. The laser levels were fun too especially in the apartment building. Story was okay but we didnt get enough.
Spoiler alert but they should've made the exit at the end the exact same spot at the very start of the game with the big door. Would have made it come around full circle - literally.
Probably one of the most disappointing games for me. Very rigid and static controls for the character. I was expecting to run and jump off walls in a free flowing manner since the character is a cat. But with this game you just jump from predefined positions and land at the the corresponding position. I know Uncharted is a little like that but that's actually fun and doesn't feel so rigid. With this game it's graphics hide the fact that it's gameplay is the equivalent of bad platformer from 15 years ago.
Absolutely loved it. Loved the story. No replayability fyi, imho that doesn't matter.
God you guys are such killjoys, the game is a fun little cute adventure story, it is about the exploration, atmosphere and visual spectacle, the gameplay being simple is the point. It was exactly as hard as it needed to be to have a decent flow, you are playing a movie, no one wants to be stuck doing repetitive or difficult puzzles.
little cute adventure story…
with a big price tag. It's on my wishlist but I'll wait for more than 30% off.
There's a bunch of games 50% off or more, like Stranded Deep I just bought, great so far.
It's currently on sale at xbox.com for $33.71, a little more than this deal but I'm hoping it's play anywhere as in buy it once then play it on PC and or Xbox?
Can anyone confirm if this is the case please, it's not listed as play anywhere but I read somewhere that all new and recent Xbox games are playable on PC as well?
All new and recent Microsoft Xbox games, and I don't think this is Play Anywhere sadly
I think it is play anywhere, the listing on Xbox says playable on pc
But it's not on this list
I think you're right, this reddit post seems to confirm it https://www.reddit.com/r/stray/comments/17ggb3i/no_communica…
@catchmeifyoucan: I bought it on Xbox upon release and just installed it on PC now via the Xbox app, so yes Play Anywhere it seems, which I did not realise till you asked. Thank you lol
@nyteshaiid: I just bought it from xbox.com and installed it on Xbox and PC so play anywhere it is but not publicized by M$, will have a play new years day, thanks for the heads up!
Had heaps of fun with it as well
I finished this game in under 2 hours for the trophy. Don't ask meow.
Meow?
Me-ow
I rarely play games, but loved this one!
It’s not that short; it’s not that good.
Picked up the Xbox version for $14.39 earlier today, Argentinian activation code, activated fine whilst connected to vpn and installed ok afterwards without vpn
That's a good find, will it also install to a PC?
I believe so, the key says Stray (Xbox Series X/S, Windows 10) and i can see it in my PC xbox library. Need to activate whilst located in Argentina, but installs fine once activated without anything else. I bought from a key service called G2A.
Not worth more $20. Nice little game though
I enjoyed meow meow meow, but wouldn't pay more than $20. I'm also a big fan of Honk Honk Honk game
