I came across this excellent mid-range audio interface recently on Amazon UK and thought I'd share. I chose to pick it up from a local supplier ($534 at Store DJ/Mannings) only as I am in need of it now, however if you are happy to wait for a couple of weeks for delivery, this is a great price!

I'd recommend this for bedroom producers, content creators, and podcasters.

  • I was thinking about this, but I've heard that the factory that made the chips burnt down and they've switched to an inferior chip without telling anyone. With that said, it still might be good or things might have changed from when I last read about this?

    • That factory fire (AKM in Japan) was a few years ago and before this variant of the iD series was conceived/released so I wouldn't be too concerned.

      • ah okay, so that was the MK1 then I presume

        • It might be the iD22 you are thinking of. The iD24 is essentially the updated version of the iD22. Mainly cosmetically however I don't think the iD22 has world clock where as this one does

  • I have an iD4 - my only real annoyance with it, is it resets the volume to 0% every time it loses USB connection (which happens when you shutdown/restart). Not sure if this does the same thing.
