        +1 for e&s
Just bought a series 8 9kg Bosch from them (German made)

    • Just looked at this company. Seems like it's for Melbourne? Do they deliver and install interstate?

My idos bosch made in germany. 1800 dollar unit

Ruber seal cracked about a year and a half in… not covered by warantee.
Door wouldnt register as closed/ lock, replaced lock, did not fix, replaced circuit board, fix door, but still did not work,.. motor not working…replacing second cirtuitboard now,

Currently without a washing machine for a few weeks now.

Rang bosch, had a chat and they agreed to supply parts if i pay for the labour…(I raised that a top of the line washing machine should last longer than 4 years) am up for 180 in labour so far.

    Just my experience.

    • Our last one lasted 10y+ no problems until now, upgrading for a bigger unit rather than trying to stuff around with repairs but granted our unit much much older than yours. Agree disappointing yours has had issues within 4 years

    • That’s annoying - we have a 8 year old Bosch Made in Germany and it’s faultless. Use it three times daily.

    • That's a definite case for fair trading. As you said, a top of the line machine should last longer than 1.5 years. Those goods are clearly not fit for service.

FWIW my bosh unit is about 8 years old and has never missed a beat.

    • Thanks for the feedback guys… thought everones milage would vary… just thought i would share my feedback.

We also have a heat pump drier no issues…
Dishwasher, leaking water within warantee period (ended up being the water inlet/outlet, got loose and was fixed)

I've gone from believing they would be flawless to sceptical…

Repaired my whirlpool washing machine a few times before getting this one (tap and agitator) that think lasted over 20 years and was a base model…. just disapointed at these units.

Got this at the black friday sales for $949 from good guys

Had one of these for ages, seems ok, but filter blocks easily.

Only problem is, like all other front loader machines, THEY ARE NOT 10KG MACHINES!!!

They run to 10kg on only one program if you use the slow option. Do a normal load in Mixed, it's 4kg! Other options run to 5kg, 4kg and 2kg, which the salesman won't explain to you …. download and read the manual of each machine before you buy!

I have this machine and that bothers me too

Better off doing 3 small loads than 1 big one because the 10kg load takes ages.

      • Just queue up the washing overnight to finish when you want to put the washing up. The eco cycle that runs the longest usually cleans clothes better and uses less resources. I have a smaller capacity Bosch washing machine and this is how I use mine.

        • +1

Thanks but with 3 loads a day sometimes with kids, queuing overnight isn't an option…
And with solar I prefer to wash during daylight hours

          • @teacherer: Yeah wash at night if you like high power bills lol

    • They are if you go with other brands with not too much fancy specs, my 8 year old 8kg Electrolux get stuffed with over 10kg loads every week and still get clothes coming out spot clean

    • Also, the 10kg load takes 4.5 hours

  • Click PRICE BEAT on The Good Guys site and price drops to $949. Please add this to deal description.

Country of origin: China. This model is not made in Germany.

    • +1

Series 8 German made models use less water. Sounds good, but in real world tests they do not clean as well as the chinese variants that are programmed to use more water. See Choice Magazine reviews. Moreover, both appear to use the same super silent motor.

Very pleased with the prompt and courteous service from Appliances Online when our Front loader washing machine died a couple of days before Christmas.I couldn't get the machine I wanted anywhere as stocks in the usual places like The Good Guys were depleted thanks to the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, but the online assistant at AO found one for me in Brisvegas and it was delivered & installed within two days….the bonus is that the delivery guys removed the old machine and installed the new one, including a test run.Throw in great prices and they're my go-to for appliances in the future…..and No it's not a Bosch.

  • Keep in mind these models aren't made in Germany

  • My Panasonic 10kg washing machine bought from Graysonline for $300 ten years ago still going strong. I even put a quilt in to wash, now they don't sell that model but definitely better than lots of machines out there
