Interesting that they're "not intended for food contact" on the back. I thought nitrile gloves were fine?

    • We bought the mentioned gloves from Woolworths and they were food safe and powder free.

    • These are more mechanics gloves

    • How do I touch my 6" sausage then ?

      • +4

        With tongs.

        • +17

          Tweezers.

      • Break in half, hack or saw it off minimum mess and works like a charm.

    • We use nitrile gloves in commercial kitchens all the time. I wonder why this is not food grade…

    • +1

It’s probably because they’re not the bright blue colour that’s meant to be used for gloves, bandaids, etc. so pieces can be seen in food easily.

  • +5

Much better value using as 5 condoms per glove.

    • -6

Or 5 heroin baggies per glove

  • My main concern is that medium/large sounds a bit small.

    • There is a sizing section at the back of the box for checking in-person if unsure prior to purchasing.

      • If you wear a glove size 9 or 10 this M/L size is perfect. Tested it earlier.

    • +1

I find disposable gloves tend to be quite small. Even with average sized hands, I only buy if XL.

      • And XL never goes on sale ..

Thanks! Need to clean the Webber so these will come in handy

  • good for people doing heaps of 3d resin printing

    • +3

Or resin smoking. Scrubbing resin out of your fingers is rough.

  • Thanks OP, got one

  • -1

1000 condoms if you cut all the fingers off. 🙂

    • *500

    • Do you reuse it to get 1000?

      • +4

        Flip it inside out

  • These, or the woolies deal?

    • I would go with Woolies deal as they are also food safe

      • Probably different use… one is "workmate" think it's to work on such like cars etc. whilst the woolies one if more kitchen specific.

  • Why no small?

  • You need to select a local store, otherwise it won't let you order online for delivery which is a bit weird.

  • Has anyone tried them? How strong are they?
I got these another day, and can say they are very strong!!!

    • The 6g gloves are some of the thickest disposable gloves out there. That's also what I buy . As washing the dishes I normally get contact dermatitis so I only buy these super thick disposables
