It supports 4k120 but not many current gen games do that, they usually have 4k30 in quality mode and 4k60 in performance mode

@Mondorock: Wasn't that a problem some years back at some French airport? Air control refused to speak English and it caused an accident. So now they use English.

Ori The Will of the Whisps runs at 6K 60fps or native 4K 120fps. Games run up to 4k and up to 120fps.
The reality is while this and the PS5 "Can" do it, for nearly every new AAA title, it won't be able to do it.
The player will have to choose between a 30fps 4k experience (for some not an issue, for me looks like its moving in slow motion) or a lower resolution 60 fps + experience (looks ugly and smeared on a 4k TV/Monitor but will at least be smooth).
Going from GOW and Spiderman on PC to GOW:R and Spiderman 2 on PS5 was painful to say the least (and I did finish the OG ones on Playstation, but did recent play throughs on my PC because it just looked/played so much better).
Sadly the sheep that don't know any better will stomp their feet and say NO WAY THESE CONSOLES DO DO 4k / 120HZ IT SAYS IT ON THE BOX.. but not realise the reality of it.

Just because PC is woefully bloated with software that no one needs or uses, and consoles are not, that's your answer right there.PC master race kids spend 1k on a GPU and then say “duh consoles are underpowered”. They can shut the hell up.
Baldurs Gate 3 would be better. Just started it and it's quite good, they somehow made it using D&D system without feeling janky.
Beware of broken saves on xbox. Saves disappear after 30-40 hours.

I mean it's not to the superb standards of Diablo 3 but very few games are. It will get better with patches and dlcs.
I know, totally different. But this or a steam deck? I'm mostly keen on Diablo and Baldurs.
Both games run great on both systems.
Although resolution will be much lower on steam deck.

Games will run much worse compared to a console and need to take into account battery life and so on, also Xbox game pass.
Could buy an Xbox + decent mobile controller (eg. g8 galileo) and stream games to your phone if you can stomach the latency.
Both games run great on both systems.

It's playable on Steam Deck.I think at the end of the day I'm a bit too old to sit on my couch with a controller. I'll try the steam deck and if I like it in a year or two I'll upgrade to maybe a Windows handheld.

It’s a shame that the XBX hasn’t achieved the same popularity of the Ps5. Great system and outstanding games.
PS5 is trash though, it took Sony almost 2 years to implement a simple 1440P 120 HZ feature that MS had day 1.
I have both consoles fwiw and the controller on PS5 is more suited for driving games than FPS.Really not sure why this is. Xbox has better power and a way better catalogue on their online service.
Interesting I find myself using xbsx more for games, dlna network streaming and 4k bluray than my PS5. I also find the xb controller more comfortable.
Likely just due to PS4 popularity, people will stick with what they're used to.
FYI for anyone considering this deal. I ordered a Switch from Dick Smith/Kogan and they simply wrap the console box in a plastic bag with no protection. Mine was a bit trashed, and they didn't bother to respond to the query about why the packing was so rubbish.

Also available via The Gamesmen (eBay) link. Using the same code as for Kogan: HGTSNS. Brings it down to around $670, which may be worth it, given that the Gamesmen have a much better reputation and would likely be easier to deal with if anything goes wrong.
