    Shit game. The worst. Avoid.

I concur. Played for the first time the other day, didn’t see the appeal.

Care to elaborate? Haven't played but was tempted to give this as a gift to someone.

      • I've played several games of it. It's honestly not that bad; its main issue is it tends to go on and on because everyone keeps sabotaging whoever is about to win. It's a fun enough game at 30-40 mins but often overstays its welcome at 1hr+.

I've played it a few times and enjoy it - it's obviously not a masterpiece but decently fun for a card game. Though it was $14 recently on Amazon (which is when I bought a copy for myself)

    • Munchkin is the worst, at least you can win this one.

    • To give it some context, what other games do you play?

      Pretty much like your comment.

    • I don't necessarily agree but after loads of ppl were saying how easy this is for their 6 year olds I got it for Xmas and it did my head in so we bailed on it. I'll try again another time but it was not THAT easy.

Yep. There are countless gaps in the written rules; they are woefully inadequate. We had to watch a 20 minute YT video to figure out how the game actually works.

        • haha youtube is on the to-do list! Agree the instructions are wild, even the order they're written in is mental.

  • Is it just cards?

    • +1

      Yes.

Yep. We had a lot of fun playing. But also heaps of fun from a $5 'Monopoly deal' deck. Or a regular deck.

Bought this for christmas and my family love it. In fact we have ordered one of the expansions too

My daughter got given this for her birthday. I'd rate it 4/10. Don't believe the 8+ age on the box it's more like 10+ because every unicorn and upgrade/downgrade card is unique. So you have to read the text on almost every freaking card to determine what it does until you're familiar with them all. But the game isn't good enough to bother playing often enough to achieve that. Don't recommend.

    • agree!

  • It was $14.79 just in November. Glad I bought 3x at the time.

  • Not sure about the legitimacy, but it's cheaper on temu

I would go with the assumption that any game bought on there is fake :)
