JTHOLIDAYSALE2023

The Japan Times are having their usual holiday sale and are offering a monthly Premium Subscription for JPY¥1,600 (~A$16.50) per month, for life (pay monthly at this rate for as long as you are subscribed). This was previously offered during their Spring Sale and Black Friday Sale.

The difference between a Standard and Premium Subscription can be found here: https://www.japantimes.co.jp/sub/

Pay with JPY instead of USD to get the cheaper rate.

It seems that they have a 30% sale on their annual Premium Subscription as well but subscribing month by month with this offer is cheaper and more flexible.

It's inevitable that The Japan Times will be influenced by such an alliance. The Japanese culture has, thus far, free from such ideology. Hence, its increased attraction to people in the West in particular.
