Another good value option. 256 Liteon for $169.

The Liteon has been really good, got one in the last sales.

  • 'COTD' in the title, please.

This is only a 1 year warranty not 3 years that you would get from samsung. I don't think its that good of a deal.

  • I'm considering this deal when stock is available:

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/845681-REG/Samsung_MZ_…

    • do they ship to aus?

      • They do, shipping charges are

        $32.26 UPS Worldwide Expedited
        4-6 Business Days Delivery

        $61.20 UPS Worldwide Saver
        3-5 Business Day Delivery

        $101.20 FedEx Priority
        3-5 Business Day Delivery

    • warranty? only $3 more from shopping express with 3yr local warranty

  • the bhphotovideo deal works out better as a group deal if you buy 2 or more

    • How do you find some1 to buy 2+ with you?

  • Is there any good/benefit to replace the HDD with SSD in a netbook with Atom D2600 processor? or just waste of money since the processor is too slow? Thanks

It's provide access to your data faster … mean window boots faster , open software faster ect …
1 sec to open MS Word, how about that.

It does appear complete different. I have a toshiba netbook which ran win7 on a hdd and I swap it out with a SSd and it started to fly.

      • @netbies, are you sure you didn't give the Toshiba some Red Bull recently?

        • Yeah… especially the new ones….. ;-)

1 year warranty vs. 3 years warranty at a real pc store for $209. That's $10 more.

And if you want a cheap 256gb drive, Plextor 256gb with 3 year warranty, $179.

  • This is not better than the ShoppingExpress deal.
