Don’t bother, get something with a dedicated gpu
yes if you want to do lots of gaming, especially with newer games then a dedicated GPU will outperform this mini PC - but be aware that the cost for something like an Nvidia 1650 is about $250, plus the rest of the PC.

I'll be a devil's advocate and say (covers anything on amazon though in my opinion) - if you buy it and don't like it - then amazon return policies are fantastic, I've returned some items because they just weren't as good as I thought they would be.
Thanks for the in depth review, very much appreciated. Ideally would like something that costs under a grand and can handle Genshin on reasonable settings at around 60fps. This one looks ok but might be best spending that bit more and getting a budget PC with dedicated GPU then?
@TheFunkySalsa: If form factor is important this tiny PC is smaller than all itx case with custom building. So it's good to put a priorities list and see how you adjust based on that.

though personally at the higher end of cost, unless you absolutely need a smaller PC - I'd probably opt for a mini-ITX / ITX build where the components can be easily upgraded to get some more longevity (especially upgrading GPU). Though an interesting option on the near horizon - the AMD 8600G is due soon, should maybe be around $350 AUD and would pair nicely with an Asrock deskmini chassis, or a deskmeet chassis if you wanted to add in a PCIE GPU. Might squeak in just under $100 and that system is still around the extremely tiny mini pc (12x12x5cm) size.
@gizmomelb: Thanks for the recommendations, really appreciate the information. Ideally in my situation smaller is better. The PC will most likely be hooked up to our living room television (65" Sony) and be used for all manner of things, including a media centre and a bit of gaming. There is no room for a large traditional gaming case. I do like the idea of upgradable components though, is in some ways I feel like buying a fixed chipset is potentially creating guaranteed e-waste in the future. Is their claim to certification trustworthy?Seems a decent deal… the 25% off applies to all the cable lengths. Selected the 30m one which is $43.49, been looking at one I can run to from my study to where my TV is rather than having to lug if into the lounge room to be able to use for couch gaming with VRR/HDR rather than using Moonlight for game stream.

What would be your solution for input at that distance? USB to ethernet extender?
I just use my Xbox One controller which luckily has the range with the official wireless adaptor (along with a program Controller Companion for when I need to use the mouse). When that won't work for some prompts I have a small wireless keyboard with touchpad as well.
I only use the TV for controller games, anything that requires a K&M I just play at the desk.
So update on this, tested it today and it’s useless.
Glitches out constantly, either seems to lose signal for a second or so or shows strange screen glitches.
Have already put in for a return to Amazon, guess for now I either just need to bite the bullet and spend a lot more or just move my PC any time I want to use it on my TV!
I remember reading reviews in the past that were consistent with what you got.
Not sure how well the cheap HDMI over Ethernet baluns work but something along those lines is what I'd use.
Even on Amazon there are cheap unpowered single cable ones around $10 that claim 1080p up to 30mt. Powered prob better though, maybe something like this if 1080p will do. 4k obviously going to be more.
At least from Amazon is easy to return if no good.
@bamzero: In my old place I tried one of the HDMI over Ethernet which don’t work the best either (had Ethernet ports installed all over, current place I’m in just running a single Ethernet cable along the skirting board).
Was happy with using Moonlight but now with a newer TV with HDR and VRR I want to be able to use that. For now I’ll just continue moving my PC to the lounge if I wanna do some couch gaming I guess!
The cable worked well to begin with but after 10 mins or so just started glitching like crazy.

Got one, pretty niche use case. From what I understand it's an external bluetooth adaptor for the switch and considering the switch already supports bluetooth it just allows 4 controllers to be connected alongside bluetooth headphones rather than the inbuilt limitation of 2 controllers and bluetooth headphones.

Depends what you mean by expensive. At service stations and 7/11 they are $5.50 for 2, or $2.75 each. This deal equates to $1.38 per can so on that basis it is pretty well 'half price'.
When compared to all time low deals on Amazon, it's not particularly cheap, no.
