I know nothing about skate boards, but is it worth spending a bit more than a $12 cheapy from Kmart for a kids starter board?
Depends on who is going to use it. Last year our grand-daughter asked us to buy one from Element, big difference to KMart boards and yes a lot more expensive.
Those look fine for what they are e.g. if someone's just seeing if they want to do it, or you don't want to spend on something serious in case they have no interest at all, and depending on age.
If they are already into boards, or their friends are, then they'd probably want more known brands.

Do you have to use glue with them? Can you put them on as soon as you do the polish and use that as the glue? Failing that, would wood glue work?
The polish won't hold the gem so you will need something like a glue gel for rhinestones. Once you finish the polish, you dip the base of the rhinestone onto that glue. You then put the rhinestone on top of the polish and cure it with UV. You would then use a top coat over the rest of the nail and around the rhinestone.
Wood glue would probably work if you were desperate, it's just easier to use the glue gel since you can cure it immediately and you wouldn't have to be careful waiting for the wood glue to dry. Also do keep in mind that you don't want to rip off your nail bed when you're taking off the gem so the wood glue might be too strong.

Very strange, I purchased the Coca-Cola Caffeine Free Zero Sugar Coke Can 24 x 250 ml on April 9th and still showing as not shipped. Why didn't they fulfil my order if they had 5 available today.
It's called a stuck order, and it happens due to some unknown reasons, often when the sales happens too quick and it went OOS causing a glitch on Amazon's system while your order went through causing it to be "stuck". 99.9% chances are it will never ship, because each order is assigned to the OOS or old inventory.
They can't ship it even if there's 5 more available because that is a new batch and your order wasn't linked to it.
Source: some Amazon rep told me.
I've had a few of these happen on very expensive stuff and Amazon was able to do a price difference refund (due to their error) after I rebuy the item at current price. YMMV with warehouse stuff however as Amazon Warehouse is technically a third party. Depends how you communicate with them. They usually provide credit for stuck orders due to inconvenience.
Fyi, recieved my coke today. Fwiw its actually coke zero sugar instead of zero sugar caffeine free.
Will contact Amazon to see what they can do.
