Any place selling the Moonrise Mellow flavour? 😅

  • +13

    💩

  • This and Glowberry are the only palatable flavors (I'm embarrassed to say I have pretty much tasted them all, but I blame my kids for it)

    • Having never tried one, is it similar to a Gatorade/Powerade consistency and lack of real flavour?

      • +3

I find these almost undrinkable, they're so god damn sweet it's unreal. Way sweeter than gatorade, these were made for the US though who put sugar in everything basically.

        • +1

Not surprised, have seen the shelf space for them reduce month on month.

        • Reply to this mate,

I checked the Obesity ranking, US is top 14, Australia is top 19. Doesn't make sense if US is putting sugar in everything considering the Demography ratio between the two countries. Should've been at least +/- 20 isn't it? Or are you just assuming?

@Fredfloresjr: Also, check anything else besides "Adults - Male". For example:
"Children - Male" US rank 12 - AU rank 56. Huge difference

I don't think Prime has any sugar in it. It's far too low calorie to have sugar. It tastes like it has the same stuff they use to flavour medicines. I don't mind it and particularly like the blue flavour, but it's not something you can drink in a short space of time. Needs a swig here and there through the day. Otherwise it's a bit sickly.

          • +1

@Chris12345: I thought I was weird for doing this..

It took me 2 days to drink 1 random flavour I found in a store. Kept it in the fridge the whole time so it's ice cold, actually liked the flavour, but yeah, could only handle sips at a time randomly. Like, it forces you to not drink it like any other sports drink.. 😅

      • It tastes like orange sherbet, got a little tang with a sweetnes, has a candy taste to it. They all have a synthetic flavor to them, the others are really bad, undrinkable, the orange is not bad I actually liked it.

      • +1

You certainly couldn't say it lacks flavour. It's actually a bit overwhelming in that department and drinking more than a bit at a time makes you feel a bit sick.

Any recommendations for a backpack with 4 bottle holders?

2g of sugar per bottle is too much? I haven't tried this but….. small cup of yoghurt is 50g of sugar.

      • Artificial sweeteners dude…

        • -6

          Then it's not a sugar.

Artificial sweetener don't contain sugar that's why it is given to people who have diabetes.

didn't say it was full of sugar. you mistakenly Inferred that they meant sugar, pulled your pedant pants up way too high and now we can see your brown socks.

            • @M00Cow: The guy he responded to is the one who made the inference.

@Chris12345: nope. separate statement about Americans and sugar. morning time in Saint Petersburg?

                • @M00Cow: Let me give you an example -

You seem like a dullard. There are a lot of dullards from Turkey.

Yes, they are seperate statements, but together they strongly imply I think you are Turkish (and a dullard, which I definitely do).

Lol, was telling the truth and get negged.

That is the reason why kids are confused, from confused parents.

      • +4

Cos you're trying to force an argument for literally no reason, I said it's a super sweet drink, which it is, and you took it to mean sugar which you stated was only 2g to which I replied it has artificial sweetener which you then tried to argue about for some unknown reason, then took to the rest of my passing comment about sugar being in everything for which the US is known as a meme.

It has artificial sweetener in it, and it's a really sweet drink compared to Gatorade which I was commenting on as a reference because other people were asking. And I didn't reply because I couldn't be bothered fighting a non-argument.

        • +2

ignore the bot… it's nearly hometime in Saint Petersburg

    best by March 2024

I doubt they're best anytime. But with the amount of artificial crap in these I suspect they mean March 2124

I could tell just from the title this was some sort of "content creator collaboration drink".

garbage don't put it in your body.

just fyi also there are plenty of "content creators" who had a slight conscience and decided to pull out of their sponsorship deals for shitty products. and because they decided to cut ties and get burned a lot of viewers did digging and every time it's revealed how full of shit these products are. claims of "this" and "that" while doing neither and just being toxic junk that can cause health issues.

    • Nevermind, it shows a pic of the purple ones which you can select for $19.90, but it loos like an error

  • +1

These need to be diluted like a concentrate or they are way too sweet its like drinking straight cordial with no water.

Every time I see someone drinking a Prime I go up to them and ask 'What does it feel like when you get pegged by your mum?'

    • +1

      and what did mum say?

      • +1

Unfortunately their mum is very rarely there for me to ask her, I'm sure she's busy preparing the "apparatus" for when the Prime Enjoyer comes home

  • Woudnt take even if its free..!

  • I drank one once for the meme. berocca tastes nicer….
