A Telstra Mobile Plan with an Option for Apple Watch eSIM?

I will purchase a telstra mobile plan very soon. this (www.ozbargain.com.au/node/818743) seems a good option. Alternatively, jb hifi's plan also seems good value to me (with the "bonus" gift cards), though jb's does include any international calls.

however, i would also like to pay a small extra amount to have an esim for my apple watch. I am wondering if Boost or JB offer anything that may suit my needs? Otherwise, what other options do I have?

Thanks.

    [boost] seems a good option.

You cannot get "One Number " from boost or any prepaid. Only expensive postpaid plans.

  • Yeah $5 more. Worth it, it's like having a backup phone on you at all times. Well until the battery dies.

boost don't have esim support, they've said it's something they've been working on (for years at this point). you have to use one of the big telcos (vodafone, optus, telstra). as a note, just because a certain telco offers esim, doesn't mean you'll be able to use it with your smart watch, so you're going to have to stick with the big 3 which will be $5 extra per month

    That's not a Telstra plan, that's a Boost plan
